Aldsworth, 1811
A downloadable game
As ladies act to secure their futures in the countryside of Regency England, love is a luxury some cannot afford.
Tell the story of five women and the men they might marry in this GM-less one shot. Play consists of drawing cards and deciding who said what's on the card.
A no-prep, GMless roleplaying game on cards for 1-5 players in 90 minutes.
Currently in playtesting, follow for updates!
Aldsworth, 1811 uses the Tales of Desperation engine, created by Jason Morningstar. Bully Pulpit Games' Desperation is different in that characters and events are established, but players decide who the card prompt applies to and what that means for your story.

Gave this a try, super excited.
Found the ending confusing though as I couldn't figure out if the ending would only apply to one character or all of them
Sorry about that Purrsephone! I'm still working on the rule text and the ending card. I'm leaning towards writing a new ending card that's passed around, letting all players add details or an epilogue.
No need to apologise! I'm excited for what you're working on :) I really enjoyed all of the writing and art
Just played this online with Camilla and others. Writing up a little review of it. Love some Regency!
Can't wait to playtest, thanks for making it available online!
Thank you! I would love to hear about it when you play!
Super excited for this! What a great application of Desperation!
Thanks, Andy! I'll hopefully be playtesting the newest version at the end of March!
